Summary of Role:
SunPower is looking for a self-motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong interpersonal skills and experience leading large-scale initiatives across multiple organizations. The successful candidate will deliver, influence, and manage technical projects and workstreams within our products and engineering group, as well as drive new innovation by working with customers to develop solutions for SunPower’s evolving needs.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously that touch multiple organizations within SunPower. In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will provide technical leadership that gets software applications built and integrated within the SunPower ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders across various design, software and business teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long-term product roadmaps.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Our ideal candidate will have a strong PM/TPM background, with demonstrated experience leading and delivering cross-organizational technical program management projects. This candidate will have a deep technical background in building platforms leveraged by many end customers.
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, up to the VP level
- Comfortable presenting in large groups and handling high-pressure communication
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, object-oriented development, build processes, change control management, and release models
- Ability to dive deep into system design and architectural trade-offs with engineering teams
- Experience with managing large cross-functional projects
- Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects
- Able to collect, analyze and present data sets to support project goals and initiatives
- Experience running complex projects with cross-organization stakeholders and contributors to define milestones and timelines
Preferred Qualifications:- Successful track record of coordinating between multiple project stakeholders, technical program managers, and software development teams.
- Experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans; prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
- Experience delivering software on AWS or another large cloud provider.
- Experience with big data/machine learning technologies, concepts, and architectural considerations.
- Experience in fintech / digital lending businesses, particularly to small businesses or consumers.
