Summary of Role:
Solar energy is one of the fastest growing industries in the US. Not only is going solar beneficial for the planet; for customers it also saves money vs. buying power from the utility. Our supply chain and inventory systems are essential for supporting this growth. Our success depends on robust capabilities that allow us to deliver inventory on time to customers and partners, quickly launch new PV products to market and scale our offerings and reduce costs both for SunPower and our customers.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a track record for driving new product features from concept to successful launch with internal and external partners. You will be working on streamlining supply chain ecosystem workflows within SunPower Corporation in order to gain efficiency and contribute to revenue generation. You will build tools and systems to improve fulfillment to SunPower Dealers and end users. This impactful role requires strong and proactive leadership and the ability to independently drive large, cross-functional product initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- You will execute on the strategic vision for the supply chain and inventory product focus area.
- Your responsibilities will include engaging with our supply chain partners and customers to identify requirements, defining product features, and working closely with software development teams to launch those features.
- You will independently execute across all areas of the product lifecycle (research, concept, user stories, development and adoption)
- You will own partner integration escalations to ensure proper resolution while communicating impact to roadmap items
- You will represent supply chain as a domain and product expert in strategic meetings
- You will leverage data analytics to release impactful features and drive adoption of released features
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years overall professional experience; at least 3 years in a Product management role preferably in Supply chain, B2B and B2C.
- Knowledge of finance, sales operations and customer care functional areas
- Experience working with external/strategic partners on complex integrations
- Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, familiarity, and aptitude with SaaS applications, APIs and integrations
- Skilled communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences, and ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically, to synthesize data and draw insights, formulate scope and requirements, and validate hypotheses based on data
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities and maintain close attention to detail
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with a major ERP application (e.g. Oracle Fusion)
- Experience with data analytics
