Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Set and implement the product and application security and privacy strategy for key SunPower products, applications, and services. This is a new team and role, so you will have important responsibility (and opportunity) to build a fresh, new strategy that meets SunPower’s needs as we evolve.
- Communicate risk and risk mitigation plans to the SunPower leadership team
- Application security reviews (threat model, design review, code reviews) of SunPower’s most important systems.
- Defining and guiding security architecture
- Teach, train, and mentor SunPower staff on secure systems development
- Participate in recruiting activities for our growing security team
Required Qualifications:- MS in computer science, information security, information science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8 or more years of software, application, or product security experience with threat modeling, design reviews, secure architecture, security code reviews, secure coding, authentication, secure SDLC, cryptography, and security test development.
- Expertise with security engineering, security protocols, or applied cryptography
- 4 or more years of experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing.

Pay Range
$204,820 - $307,230
