About the Role
Working within a small team, the Power Station Operator Maintainer (Electrical) @ Kundana reports to the Area Manager.
This position executes planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on the equipment within Zenith Power Stations. The role ensures that maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest quality standards, ensuring equipment reliability.
Responsibilities will include
- Operate and maintain reciprocating engines and power generation equipment.
- Routine and breakdown maintenance.
- Repair power generation and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintenance of power generation and engine management control systems.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Analysis of power generation equipment, systems, and associated auxiliary equipment.
- Prepare and maintain internal and external reports and recommend continuous improvement.
- Attend the power station after hours while on-site to address faults and breakdowns.
- Raise and maintain work orders and purchase order requests in ERP.
About You
As the Power Station Operator Maintainer – (Electrical), you will bring the following experience, knowledge, and skills to the role.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Electrical trade.
- WA Electrical Workers license.
- Heavy industry or power generation experience in maintenance is desirable, but candidates from other sectors may be considered.
- Remote site or FIFO experience.
- Tradesperson-level ERP experience (Pronto, Ellipse, SAP) is desirable.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint
- Current WA C class driver’s license.
- HV Switching Ticket, desirable.
