This position requires an experienced service and diagnostic professional with a solid background and hands-on experience in EV maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Our ideal candidate has: Tech Savvy and a spark to learn New Technologies that transform the industry Passion for and a deep understanding of the latest EV and OTA technologies A can-do attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Resourceful leadership skills to help champion, improve, and sustain our technical capabilities, culture, and technician career pathing Strong learning agility Critical thinking skills to adapt on-the-go Duties and Responsibilities: Fulfill Fisker’s Service Commitment with technical expertise, style, speed, and skill utilizing a digital forward approach Proficiently perform Pre-Delivery Inspections, as well as other light-duty repairs and maintenance with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with Fisker standards Perform visual inspection of incoming and outgoing vehicles for obvious damage, missing major components, loose or misaligned items, surface chips, imperfections, and scratches Drive in an assigned route to verify common customer functions to ensure proper operations Setup customer preference per vehicle order prior to delivery Conduct short vehicle diagnostics and any required Over the Air software updates Perform repair manual validations to ensure documents are in accordance to Fisker standards Proficiently perform vehicle diagnostics, repair, or maintenance with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with Fisker standards Perform quality control checks of repaired vehicles Ensure proper and thorough documentation of related work order, warranty record and quality feedback Complete parts orders and returns to ensure accurate inventory Participate with a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in an ever-changing dynamic environment shaping a differentiated aftersales experience from the rest of the industry Identify and report complex technical issues encountered during repairs, emerging trends, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation activities Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Automotive Technology ASE Certifications a plus (ASE L3 Hybrid/EV and L4 ADAS certifications highly desired) EPA 609 Certification 5-years of automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostic experience 3-years direct customer facing or Service Advisor experience, preferred Hands-on working experience using diagnostic tools and network protocols, e.g., ECU troubleshooting on CAN & LIN buses. Live High Voltage (HV) System qualification is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and standardized shop equipment Fluent spoken and written English, additional language(s) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies: Motivated to work without direct supervision, an independent initiative-taker with a sense of urgency Desire to perform in a high-pressure environment and to meet tight deadlines Extremely organized and meticulous Maintain prominent levels of technical knowledge, and up to date training Working Conditions: Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, and in a mobile service unit Must be willing to work overtime, early or late hours and on weekends as needed to meet deadlines and goals for a Global company. Exposed to service workshop environment that requires lifting moderate weights, standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, etc. Expected Salary Range: $21.00 - $45.00 per hour. Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
