Job Description
Essential Function 1. Panning and Development Supporting Activities Work with the CMI CRE VPLG to identify current and emerging climate challenges in the RMI Work with other climate changes partners and stakeholders to identify the local needs Establish extension activities that are aligned with the CMI CRE Land- Grants plan of work ( POW ), extension work plan ( EWP ) and the climate change program’s non-technical summary Establish multi-media platforms to supplement the program activities Conduct an environmental scan on the established extension activities Identify, allocate and secure implementation materials and supplies Establish a support system for the extension activities. Essential Function 2. Implementation Supporting Activities Set up, coordinate and facilitate pre-assessments Set up, coordinate and facilitate presentations Set up, coordinate and facilitate workshops Set up, coordinate and facilitate lectures Set up, coordinate and facilitate demonstrations Set up, coordinate and facilitate project-based activities Set up, coordinate and facilitate post-assessments Deliver indirect learning approaches Essential Function 3. Collaborating roles Supporting Activities Develop mutual relationships with other key partners and key resource stakeholders Develop and execute collaborative activities with other extension agents and researcher Participate with other team members during traditional and community events and activities Participate with other team members during public events and activities Participate in workshops and conferences relevant to the program Essential Function 4. Reporting Supporting Activities Provide the VPLG pre/post-assessment data Procide the VPLG a monthly extension activity report Input activity reports to the NIFA reporting system Assis the VPLG and the administrative assistant with the annual accomplishment report
