SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Project Design Section Manager is responsible managing the Project Design Engineering Team and collaborating directly with Sales and Engineering stakeholders for alignment on business process and strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the Project Design Section comprising of Team Leaders at first-level, and Design Engineers at second-level hierarchy.
- Be accountable for the timely and quality completion of the team’s deliverables.
- Drive impactful initiatives that will significantly improve customer experience.
- Drive team performance through regular engagement, coaching, mentoring, counseling.
- Provide final performance review of the whole section.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Project Design processes and procedures.
- Plan and manage team resources through scheduling and workload balancing to achieve Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Possess in-depth critical problem-solving skills necessary for managing quality defects, capacity constraints, and other operational issues.
- Perform business analytics relevant to workforce management, capacity planning, budget planning, business reviews.
- Point of escalation for conflict and issue resolution (within the team or cross-functional teams).
- Proactively notify the Stakeholders and Management of issues, as well as provide solutions and track progress of action plans until issue resolution.
- Decision-maker on process changes and escalations.
- Comply with company policies and job expectations, drive compliance in the team.
- Be open to change, creative, optimistic, and set the example for team culture.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Management, Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce.
- Interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment.
- Decision-making skills – ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
- Analytical skills – ability to analyze data and trends effectively.
- People management skills – ability to guide, coach, mentor, resolve conflict, manage team performance.
- Stakeholder management skills – ability to organize, coordinate, improve relational interactions with stakeholders.
- Business acumen – ability to quickly grasp and respond to diverse business situations.
- Strategic planning and execution – ability to create a vision, set goals, and execute according to plan.

- Candidate must be willing to work in Binan Laguna.
- Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines.
- Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays).
- Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region.
- Candidate will be on flexible work arrangement (combination of onsite and remote work) (if applicable depending on the nature of the job).
