Summary of Role:
The Permit Coordinator role provides operational support to the SunPower Direct (SPD) Residential Self Install Construction Team, facilitating project setup, design coordination, procedure development, utility interconnection, rebate applications, and SPWR platform support as well as helping to develop the SPD self install business processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Permit Coordination
- Provide support on utility permit correction requests for interconnection approval
- Submit Designs and Permit Applications to local municipals daily
- Pick up approved/issued permits daily
- Maintain checkbook and credit card transactions for each job/account
- Maintain expense reports for daily transactions and submit weekly
- Initiate Design requests
- QC designs and verifies accuracy of drawings as it pertains to contracts & Salesforce
- Coordinate design delivery and status with SPWR teams
- Design Support
- Intake of all home-specific design requests from SunPower field team
- Download/Save customer files to e-builder and update SFDC with design details
- Maintain regular interaction with the design team and GBFS support team
- Work with Project Management to manage Permit design requests
- E-builder Administration
- Support Residential integration E-Builder
- Maintain E-builder files, users and document procedures
- Utility Interconnection Process
- Maintain AHJ Database providing documentation about new and changing codes and requirements
Minimum Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree and 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and driving screen
- 2 years of general Construction Administration experience
- 2 years of "end-to-end" solar project administration
Preferred Requirements: - Strong verbal and written communication skills for high volumes of internal and external communication/coordination
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task at high volume of work
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative group setting
- Excellent MS Office and Adobe creation and manipulation skills

Pay Range
$38,720 - $58,080*
