What you’ll be able to do:
Amogy is looking for a Project Manager to support the planning and execution of technical projects and prototype deployments within Amogy’s Product Development organization. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on internal projects for the development of our ammonia-to-electricity power-pack technology.
- Work closely with department leadership to define and develop plans for new product development projects.
- Create and maintain detailed schedules for product development projects and present to stakeholders
- Coach technical leads on project management best practices and ensure all projects are tracked accurately
- Ensure inter-team coordination and communication as well as engagement with external collaborators
- Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and help teams meet important milestones
The minimum qualifications we seek:
- BS/MS in a relevant technical field (e.g., chemical, electrical, mechanical, automotive, maritime, aerospace engineering)
- 5+ years of work experience in technical project management, including proposal development, project planning, budget and schedule tracking, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of project tracking software system such as MS Project or Jira.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of engineering and product development projects with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Our preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing projects in the aerospace, automotive, chemical, or maritime industries.
- Deep technical and engineering experience in fuel & energy conversion devices (engines, fuel cells, reactors, turbines, etc.).
What you’ll receive in return:
The salary pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000.The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in New York City. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
