They're seeking a talented and driven Solar Grid Engineer to design, develop, and optimize solar power systems that integrate seamlessly into the energy grid.
Duties:
- Design and engineer grid-connected solar PV systems and battery storage solutions
- Conduct power flow, voltage regulation, and grid impact analyses
- Collaborate with utility companies and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with interconnection standards
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements
- Lead and support the commissioning and testing of new installations
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in solar PV systems and grid interconnection
- Proficiency with software tools such as PVSyst, ETAP, AutoCAD, and/or PowerFactory
- Strong understanding of IEEE, NEC, and UL standards related to solar and electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean energy innovation
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with utility-scale solar or hybrid systems
- PE license or progress toward licensure
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring
