We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production In-Charge to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations in our solar production unit. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, optimum resource utilization, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role is critical in maintaining efficiency and productivity while supporting our mission of delivering high-quality solar products.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules
Allocate tasks and coordinate with production staff and supervisors
Monitor output and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance
Minimize downtime and troubleshoot process or equipment issues quickly
Maintain accurate production records and generate daily/weekly reports
Ensure workplace safety protocols are strictly followed
Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, and inventory teams for smooth operations
Monitor raw material availability and work closely with the store and procurement teams.
Train and guide operators and new staff to improve performance and skill levels
Requirements
Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production role (solar industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean production, and 5S practices
Familiarity with solar panel/module manufacturing machinery is an added advantage.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production tracking software, etc.)
