The University of Massachusetts Amherst is searching for Director of Clean Energy Extension (CEE). CEE was established in 2015 and resides in the Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment(CAFE) with an academic affiliation in the Department of Environmental Conservation. CEE is funded through the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER), CAFE and the College of Natural Sciences. The position supports clean energy and climate policies and programs through applied research and extension, direct technical assistance, and workforce development. The CEE program is a statewide leader in the areas of municipal energy efficiency, greenhouse gas inventories, net zero planning, clean energy workforce development, offshore wind-wildlife interaction research, agrivoltaics, pollinator-friendly solar, and solar planning, financing, and implementation. The role of the CEE Director involves both administrative and programmatic. Salary commensurate with experience.
