BESS - Renewable Energy company is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team.
As a Manufacturing Supervisor your purpose is to perform the relevant manufacturing-related tasks to ensure the manufacturing plan is achieved and the finished product adheres to quality specifications and meets and/or exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the team.
  • Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
  • Delegating tasks to team members.
  • Conduct training for team members.
  • Undertake manual handling.
  • Read and translate drawings.
  • Apply Heat shrink on components.
  • Repair, replace, and/or modify fabrications on copper.
  • Assist in the provision of on-the-job training.
  • Measure and examine completed work to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Ensure team and department comply with the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Act and adhere to all safety requirements, policies, and procedures of the company to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Enforce adherence to wearing of the relevant and correct Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) specific to tasks, to ensure personal safety.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 14001:2015 requirements, policies, and regulations to ensure the organization demonstrates compliance Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Perform all the daily safety checks on the equipment to ensure all safety features are functioning properly, and injuries to people and damage to equipment/property and products are prevented.
  • Inspect the material to ensure it adheres to all the required quality specifications and standards before manufacturing.
  • Ensure all the quality specifications and standards are fully understood by the situational-level teams.
  • Raise and report any non-conformance to them and ensure to put CAPA measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards by working closely with the Quality Control team.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of manufacturing data, employee performance, and inventory levels.
  • Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Essential Requirements:
    • Grade 12
    • Minimum 4 years working experience within a similar position.
    • Proficiency in manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
    • Understanding of production procedures.
    • Ability to work within strict deadlines.
    • Able to meet the quality standards of the business.
