About the Role
Performance Systems Development (PSD) is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical expertise, evaluate and implement technologies, and offer guidance and training to the development team. This role requires strong communication with agile teams and other architects, along with a commitment to software craftsmanship and professionalism.
As a Software Engineer you will:
- Design functional, robust, and scalable software solutions with product owners and architects.
- Create technical specifications and ensure secure integration of client data.
- Participate in design and planning discussions for software features and enhancements.
- Apply software principles, standards, and patterns for adaptable architecture.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
This position reports to the Software Architecture and Engineering Manager and plays a key role in helping PSD provide technical expertise within the Software division.

What You Bring
· 8+ years of experience as a C# .NET web engineer.
· Expertise in .NET Framework, .NET 6+, and .NET technologies (MVC, IIS, SQL Server, Entity Framework).
· Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, or React).
· Experience designing software and microservice architectures for development teams.
· Proficiency with Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure services, Terraform, and Docker.
· Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Scrum, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
· Knowledge of additional programming languages (Ruby, PHP, Python, JavaScript).

- Physical Demands: Frequent computer use requiring periods of sitting and close audio-visual concentration.
- Work Environment: Office work performed in a collaborative environment with a high degree of independence.
