Tasks
Responsible for the development and enforcement of organization environmental programs in compliance with all related local and national Laws& regulations. Directs the evaluation and control on environmental aspects, and to promote the awareness of environment among all the employees.
Key Responsibilities
Organize environment activities within the responsible plant by ensuring that the relevant Environment legislation, standards and guidelines are complied with (also applicable to suppliers; business partners & visitors of the responsible technology (business) department)
Organize and attend environmental related meetings and identify environmental enablers etc. including waste, energy and water etc
Conduct different environmental audits(ISO14001, ISO14064, PwC audit, clean production, Green lables.) within the responsible plant and give feedback to the relevant management circles
Act as the key person to organize or participate in environmental meetings and compile/ follow up the action points
Conduct environment monitoring, finish regular government report (annual environmental report, pollutant discharge report, waste discharge report...) , keep communication and good relationship with local authorities
Conduct project environmental approvals and permits, including environmental impact assessment,environmental accptance, evironmental emergency plan, polltant permit and so on to make sure the requirements be fulfilled
Responsible for set proper environmental target for plant , regular review the target achievement status
Support the responsible plant with coordination of environmental training by identifying training needs based on the job functions
Environmental awareness promotion by coaching associates and suppliers with identification, evaluation and management of Environment risks in the area of work
Conduct different activities to promote environmental performance
3. Scope of Communication / Negotiation
Qualifications
Bachelor / master degree in environmental engineeringFormal environmental qualification in accordance with ISO 14001
Good command of MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Knowledge of ISO 14001/ISO14064, and national laws, regulations with respect to Envrionemental management
Competency of related certification of E&S
Interpersonal skills
English language: verbal, written & understanding
Communication skills
Experience in environment management area and familiar with ISO 14001/ISO14064/ clean production certification 4-6 Years
Experience in environment management, preferably within the automotive industry 4-6 Years
