<div><strong>Position: Lead – Market Intelligence and Carbon Credits</strong></div><div><strong>Designation:</strong> Senior Manager</div><div> <strong>Reporting to:</strong> Head – Business and Project Development</div><div> <strong>Team Size:</strong> 1-2 direct reports</div><div> <strong>Experience:</strong> 7-12 years, with a minimum of 5 years in the Renewable Energy sector in India</div><div> <strong>Qualification:</strong> MBA – Power (NPTI/UPES) or General Management</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br></div><div><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Market Intelligence &amp; Power Sector Analysis</strong></div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><ul><li>Analyze and track the Indian power market, focusing on demand-supply trends and emerging opportunities.</li><li>Monitor and interpret regulatory provisions at both central and state levels, with a special focus on: </li><li class="ql-indent-1">Captive Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Renewable Energy policies, rules, and tariff orders.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Tariff Policy, Indian Electricity Grid Code (IEGC), Open Access, and Connectivity Procedures.</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) regulations.</li><li>Prepare and present periodic reports on power market trends and regulatory updates to the management.</li><li>Support the bidding team with market intelligence, policy insights, and bid-related activities.</li><li>Engage with key stakeholders, including: </li><li class="ql-indent-1">Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Industry associations such as WIPPA, to advocate for the company’s interests.</li></ul><div><strong>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Carbon Markets &amp; Credit Mechanisms</strong></div><ul><li>Assess and leverage carbon market mechanisms for company’s renewable energy projects.</li><li>Identify relevant voluntary and compliance market programs for carbon credit registration.</li><li>Ensure timely registration of projects under applicable mechanisms to maximize carbon credit benefits.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants and auditors for project registration and issuance of carbon credits.</li></ul><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>Skills Required</strong></div><ul><li>Strong understanding of the Indian power sector, regulatory frameworks, and carbon market mechanisms.</li><li>Proficiency in analyzing policies, tariff structures, and market trends.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior management.</li><li>Strong influencing and negotiation skills for regulatory and industry interactions.</li><li>Comfort in engaging with top management and external stakeholders.</li></ul><div><br></div>
