Behind the Meter (BtM) is a dynamic new team at Intellihub, driving the future of energy innovation. Focused on cutting-edge renewable solutions like solar, battery energy storage solutions (BESS), EV chargers, and more, the BtM team empowers customers to electrify their homes and optimize energy use.

Your Role 

As a Product Manager, you’ll lead the charge in creating and executing groundbreaking energy solutions. You'll be the product expert, shaping the vision, driving innovation, and ensuring every product hits the mark. By aligning cross-functional teams and staying ahead of market trends, you’ll develop compelling business cases and keep the product roadmap on track. Your role is key in delivering products that exceed customer expectations and fuel business success. Your initial product focus will be BESS, Solar and Optimisation of energy devices for residential and other segments such communities and commercial. Some key accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritising features based on customer needs, market demand, and business goals 
• Craft and execute a comprehensive product strategy, monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and define the product vision 
• Work with marketing and sales to position the product, pricing, communicate its value, and execute sales-driven plans 
• Lead and collaborate with stakeholders and external parties to ensure cohesive product and system development, educate and train relevant teams product line solutions and develop sales toolkits, product datasheets, and acting as the subject matter expert
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with product manufacturers

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, marketing, or engineering, with over 7+ years proven product development and product management experience, with bonus points in consumer energy resource products or digital products
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage successful products, product roadmaps and features 
• Strong experience with pricing and financial analysis, commercial modelling and budget management
• Excellent project management skills to drive product initiatives from concept to launch
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Ability to think creatively to develop unique solutions to meet customer needs
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and drive product initiatives from concept to launch
