Design residential and commercial solar energy systems. Create plans for system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.

Create preliminary solar designs for initial customer presentations using Aurora and/or Scanifly(Drone Experience Desirable).
Design photovoltaic (PV) systems, including fixed tilt, ground‐mounted, and carport solar PV systems, for residential and commercial buildings.
Prepare energy models and conceptual design deliverables in support of business development and new product/vendor integration.
Update customer proposals in Excel with relevant system design information.
Work with project team to execute projects on time and on budget.
Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.
Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
Other functions as necessary or as assigned.
