JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Vice President - Operations, the Environmental Compliance Manager ("ECM") oversees the Water Quality Monitoring Program, which includes water quality sampling, testing, and system compliance. The ECM is responsible for interpreting and translating federal and state water quality laws and regulations into company policies and· procedures. Additionally, they recommend strategies, programs, and technologies to ensure the company's compliance with federal, state, and county water quality laws and regulations.
The ECM monitors changes in water quality statutes, rules, regulations, and policies, and proposes necessary changes to maintain compliance. They are also responsible for overseeing compliance with state and federal environmental regulations. It is essential for the ECM to possess extensive knowledge and understanding of key regulations, including the Safe Drinking Water Act, Clean Water Act, Arizona safe drinking water rules, and other relevant environmental regulations.
