Weitsman Recycling is hiring a CDL Class A Local Driver to transport scrap metals. Enjoy local routes that allow you to be home every night while working independently with the support of a dedicated team. Successful drivers may also have opportunities for paid training and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate fleet trucks and other commercial vehicles safely.
- Transport and secure recyclable materials for local deliveries.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle issues.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license with proper endorsements.
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience (recycling or waste industry preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong safety awareness and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles and navigation tools.
