Description
Weitsman Recycling is hiring a CDL Class A Local Driver to transport scrap metals. Enjoy local routes that allow you to be home every night while working independently with the support of a dedicated team. Successful drivers may also have opportunities for paid training and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate fleet trucks and other commercial vehicles safely.
Transport and secure recyclable materials for local deliveries.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle issues.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A license with proper endorsements.
Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience (recycling or waste industry preferred).
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Strong safety awareness and regulatory compliance.
Ability to operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles and navigation tools.
