Purpose of the Role:

The Project Coordinator – Solar PMO & Liaison will oversee project management operations, regulatory coordination, and stakeholder engagement for solar projects. The role involves ensuring timely project execution, regulatory compliance, effective communication between teams, and process improvements to enhance efficiency in solar project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking solar project timelines to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards to track progress, risks, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
• Support resource allocation, workload balancing, and cost analysis for efficient project execution.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to provide insights for decision-making.
• Identify process improvement areas in solar project execution and suggest solutions.

Liaison & Regulatory Coordination Responsibilities:

• Act as a single point of contact between internal teams, EPC vendors, Discoms, and government regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with local authorities for solar project approvals, permits, and subsidy-related documentation.
• Ensure all projects comply with state and central renewable energy policies and regulations.
• Work closely with DISCOMs for net metering approvals and grid connectivity processes.
• Address and resolve escalations related to vendor management, permits, and regulatory bottlenecks.
• Maintain compliance records and liaise with financial institutions for solar project funding and incentives.

Required Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Liaison, or a related field within the solar industry or renewable energy sector.
• Experience in coordinating with DISCOMs, EPC contractors, financial bodies, and regulatory agencies.
• Exposure to compliance, documentation, and stakeholder management in solar projects.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field.
