Our client is seeking an experienced Remediation Project Manager to lead project teams across a diverse portfolio of clients and environmental remediation projects in multiple industries. This role involves project oversight, technical leadership, and client relationship management while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals for projects of varying complexity and scale.
Provide technical expertise in remediation strategies, subsurface investigations, sediment assessments, and conceptual site model development.
Ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations (RCRA/CERCLA and site-specific remediation guidelines).
Lead preparation of work plans, feasibility studies, site investigations, remedial designs, and implementation strategies for both federal and state projects.
Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional growth and project contributions.
Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks, manage project schedules, and oversee budget adherence.
Engage in client communications, regulatory interactions, and coordination with subcontractors and external partners.
Participate in business development efforts, including marketing strategies, proposal writing, and expanding client relationships.
Utilize data management tools and visualization models to enhance project execution and decision-making.
Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams in delivering high-quality environmental solutions.
Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives for the Northeast-based environmental practice.
Travel may be required based on project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional registration (PE, PG, LEP (CT), LSP (MA), LSRP (NJ)) is strongly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of remediation technologies and site closure strategies.
Strong background in site assessment, regulatory compliance, and remedial design.
Proven ability to manage design-build or Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) remediation projects.
Established client relationships are a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental site investigation and remediation, with 10+ years preferred.
Proven project management experience in environmental remediation.
Strong knowledge of remediation technologies, site assessment techniques, and regulatory frameworks.
