The Tribal Solar Accelerator Fund has worked since 2018 to provide grants and leadership programs to support the development and deployment of renewable energy projects in Tribal Communities. Using a community-centric approach, we partner with Tribes to identify, develop, finance and implement solar power projects that meet community needs, including education, hands-on training, and energy cost reductions for tribal members. The Opportunity… Reporting to the Co-Executive Director, the Senior Outreach Manager for the Tribal program is a remote position, based in Albuquerque, NM. The Senior Outreach Manager will work directly with the Co-Executive Director and other team members to support the National Tribal Program outreach and engagement activities. This position is responsible for developing and managing the Outreach and Engagement Program and outreach strategies across multiple tribal programs. In addition, this person will participate in and actively support leadership and talent development for GRID Tribal. This position is funded under the Solar for All Grant and is employed the length of the grant period (maximum 5 years), with the possibility of extension, to perform essential duties related to GRID’s work plan and scope Responsibilities:

This is a hybrid position, requiring work in our Albuquerque, New Mexico office at least 50% and remote work 50% of the time. Relocation assistance offered if necessary for moving. Travel is required at least 50% out-of-town to Tribal lands, conferences, site visits, regional offices and special projects. Availability to work nights and weekends may be required. GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and/or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and a good driving record to be considered. Let's Talk Money This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Salary commensurate with experience within the pay range of ($80,000-$90,000) plus the benefits listed below. How we take care of you...
