As part of our MSc International Business program, we are seeking a Professor in Organization & People Management to teach and guide students in foundational and advanced database concepts.

 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Organization & People Management course, covering both theoretical principles and practical applications. Key duties include:

  • Delivering engaging lectures and interactive workshops on:
    • The International Business Environment: Understanding globalization and its impact on organizations.
    • Culture and Cross-Cultural Communication: Exploring Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and their implications in business.
    • Motivating and Leading Across Cultures: Leadership styles and employee motivation in diverse workforces.
    • Cross-Cultural Negotiation & Decision-Making: Strategies for effective communication and business success.
    • International Human Resource Management (HRM): Best practices for managing talent globally.
    • HR Strategy & Operating Models: Aligning HR functions with organizational goals and right-sizing strategies.
    • Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability: The triple bottom line approach to business.
    • Knowledge Management: Strategies for managing intellectual capital in multinational organizations.
    • Developing Cross-Cultural Competence: Skills and frameworks for global business success.
    • Managing International Teams: Strategies for leadership and collaboration in multicultural settings.
    • Organizational Structure & Control: Designing structures that support international operations.
  • Assessing students including assignments and final projects.
  • Incorporating real-world business challenges and best practices into the curriculum.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B2 or C1 English Level
  • A Master’s or Ph.D. in Management, International Business, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in cross-cultural management, international HRM, and leadership in global organizations.
  • Experience in teaching at the university level (preferred).
  • Industry experience in international business, HRM, consulting, or global talent management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on cross-cultural awareness.
