Associate Civil/Environmental Engineer

CME Associates is seeking a motivated Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick office, NJ. Responsibilities

  • Strong design experience/capabilities with AutoCAD 
  • Site grading/Stormwater Management design
  • Landfill design engineering experience a plus
  • Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance, ensuring projects align with federal, state, and local environmental laws.
  • Support the design and implementation of environmental remediation projects, including groundwater treatment and soil remediation.
  • Prepare technical reports and feasibility studies for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform field investigations, collect environmental data, and analyze data to develop engineering solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience: 2-5+ years of experience.
  • Technical Skills: AutoCAD a must, Proficiency in GIS, and environmental modeling software is a plus.
  • Certifications: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the future.
