Job Summary

Are you an experienced supervisor with a passion for environmental safety and remediation? We are seeking an Environmental Supervisor to lead fieldwork for remediation and industrial maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will play a critical role in directing project teams, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fieldwork for remediation and industrial maintenance projects.
• Direct labor forces, including foremen, equipment operators, hazardous waste technicians, and emergency response crews, ensuring efficient and safe project completion.
• Accurately complete all job-specific paperwork, including timesheets, daily work reports, driver logs, and safety meeting forms.
• Enforce compliance with the project scope, contract documents, schedules, and corporate policies.
• Collaborate with managers to forecast and allocate personnel, equipment, and materials in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols during project execution.
• Perform work in confined spaces and areas of varying dimensions, involving physical tasks such as squatting, crawling, and lifting.
• Safely operate vehicles and perform required safety checks.
• Be prepared for out-of-town travel for project work, which may require extended stays of two weeks or more.
• Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions and environments, including extreme heat, cold, hazardous chemicals, and heights.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
• Maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure proper respirator fit when necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience supervising remediation and/or industrial maintenance projects.
• Additional experience in emergency response, manual labor, general construction, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Valid Class “D” Driver’s License required.
• TWIC certification preferred.
• Must obtain OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certifications within the first 30 days of employment.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, substance screening, and ongoing verifications.
