Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned territories to introduce Pillar Solar’s products and services.
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy and high-quality roofing solutions.
- Generate leads and set up appointments for our sales team by gathering customer interest and contact information.
- Represent Pillar Solar in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, the market, and the benefits of solar energy and roofing solutions.
- Use persuasive communication skills to engage potential customers and overcome objections.
- Participate in team meetings and sales trainings to enhance canvassing tactics and strategies.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and report results to the Canvassing Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements during canvassing activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales and marketing teams to optimize campaign strategies.
- Provide feedback on potential strategic improvements to canvassing processes and customer interactions.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, competitors, and promotional opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in sales and marketing preferred.
- Proven experience as a Canvasser or similar role in direct sales or marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak persuasively and listen attentively.
- Must possess reliable transportation for daily travel to multiple locations within the territory.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and ability to work independently.
- Exemplary organizational skills and the aptitude to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
- Physical ability to walk extensively and handle various weather conditions during canvassing duties.
- Experience with field marketing, particularly in door-to-door promotions of roofing and solar products.
