Job Description

Split Shift – Plant 2 (11a – 7:30p)

 

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision collaborates in the development of protocols for all EHS programs and systems to ensure a safe and clean environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:  

  • Identification and controlling of hazards that could harm any party working at or visiting the location (contractors/Visitors).
  • Provide onsite safety support and perform day-to-day safety activities (new hire safety orientation)
  • Investigate and track accidents, and establish methods to correct and eliminate unsafe practices and conditions; partner with managers to monitor and ensure follow-up on safety, health and environmental action plans and communications with supervisory employees
  • Audit safety, health, and environmental activities, report and track results and follow-up on actions designed to correct and/or improve conditions and comply with regulations
  • Alert and Support in case of emergency, in compliance with internal procedures
  • Pilot some EHS actions plans and support the deployment of EHS methodologies, best practices.
  • Improve EHS skills of employees and could take in charge trainings activities, communication campaigns, teamwork.
  • Strong background in Emergency Response and First Aid.
  • Assist in the creation and review of documents i.e. (JBS, Work Instructions, Risk Assessments) etc.
  • As per business needs work in production areas as applicable and qualified i.e. (Shipping, Receiving, Wiring, Pre-Wiring, Mechanical, Close-Up, testing) etc.

  • High School diploma or GED required
