Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and machines, including trucks, forklifts, and trailers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in diesel engine systems and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, wheel balancing, and brake checks.
Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and develop effective repair plans.
Inspect and service suspensions, steering, and exhaust systems.
Conduct test drives to ensure repairs meet performance and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service history.
Respond to emergency breakdowns with field visits as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Service Technician.
Strong understanding of diesel engine components and repair techniques.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license; ability to conduct road tests.
Certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is a plus.
