Description

Weitsman Recycling is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Roll-Off Truck Driver to transport and unload containers efficiently. If you have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety and customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a roll-off truck to transport containers to and from customer locations.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured for safe transport.
  • Pick up, deliver, and unload roll-off containers at designated locations.
  • Maneuver and control the vehicle in various conditions, including tight spaces, construction zones, and different weather conditions.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors for route updates.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to company maintenance schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers and clients.
  • Assist in warehouse operations when not driving, including loading and unloading trucks, pulling stock, and processing orders as needed.
  • Follow all DOT and company safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience operating a roll-off truck preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
