Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and machines, including trucks, forklifts, and trailers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in diesel engine systems and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, wheel balancing, and brake checks.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and develop effective repair plans.
  • Inspect and service suspensions, steering, and exhaust systems.
  • Conduct test drives to ensure repairs meet performance and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service history.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns with field visits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Service Technician.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine components and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to conduct road tests.
  • Certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is a plus.
