Our Client is a rapidly growing, recognized company in the solar energy industry, already present in 25 countries. We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced
REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR
to oversee the operations, performance, and development of Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.
About the Role:
This role involves strategic planning, business development, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations within the region. The Regional Director will lead a team of Country Managers and staff to achieve company objectives, maximize profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional business strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors to identify opportunities and threats.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the region, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
- Analyze financial reports and data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with key clients and addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region to drive growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Competencies, Experience, and Skills:
- Professional Business English in speech and writing.
- 8-10 years of experience in technical sales (renewable energy is a big plus)
- IT literate.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Higher degree (faculty of management or economics preferred).
- 3+ years in project & team management, partnership development, and sales.
- Proven experience as a Regional Director or in a similar senior management role.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
