Position: Gift Shop Guest Services

Several positions are available and will be filled. This opening is a seasonal part-time position that will not exceed six months and may be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. Jekyll Island is dedicated to maintaining the delicate balance between nature and humankind through conservation, education, and preservation. Surrounded by salt marshes, expansive oceanfront, and ancient maritime forests, it is situated within the chain of the Golden Isles and just a few miles from St. Simons Island, Sea Island, and Brunswick. As a State Park, Jekyll Island is a coastal haven where nature and humans peacefully co-exist. Summary: Retail Operations is seeking outgoing, responsible, and energetic sales staff to represent Jekyll Island and enhance the experience of visitors this summer season at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Under limited supervision, the Seasonal Gift Shop Guest Services responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing exceptional customer service to visitors, performing sales transactions, and maintaining the appearance of the Gift Shop. This is a part-time seasonal position, must be able to work weekdays, weekends, some early evenings, and holidays. Hours and days will vary. The typical season is April through September, but it can start as soon as February. This position will not exceed six months in duration. Description:
