  • Assist in reviewing and validating system designs for code compliance (NEC, NFPA 70E, UL508A, etc.).
  • Size and specify electrical components including conductors, conduit, breakers, and control panels.

3. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with the design, procurement, and fabrication teams to ensure scope alignment and design feasibility.
  • Engage with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver timely estimates.
  • Support proposal and bid package development by providing technical input and cost breakdowns.

4. Software & Documentation

  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Accubid, or Trimble for takeoffs and design interpretation.
  • Create and manage project documentation including estimate summaries, technical datasheets, and quoting logs.
  • Maintain and update records through Acumatica CRM and internal project tracking tools.

5. Field & Practical Insight

  • Participate in on-site evaluations or pre-construction walkthroughs as needed.
  • Leverage field experience to improve accuracy and realism in estimates and engineering assumptions.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with electrical technologies, integration practices, and cost trends.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, integration, or design.
  • Proficient with estimating tools, AutoCAD, Excel, and project management software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and industrial system design.
