                    Visitor Experience Ambassador – Spring 2025
 
Overview:
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (CZBG) is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing individuals ready to create unforgettable experiences for our visitors. As a member of the Visitor Experience Department, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on hundreds of thousands of guests, both from the Greater Cincinnati area and around the globe. We are looking for Ambassadors anticipating working Spring 2025. 
Key Responsibilities: 
As a Visitor Experience Ambassador, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable visit. Your duties will include:
Turnstiles: Greeting and welcoming visitors while managing our turnstiles
Parking Lots: Ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in and out of parking lots.
Ticketing/Membership: Helping guests select the tickets or memberships that best meet their needs.
Welcome Center: Assisting guests with rentals and wayfinding.
Safari Train & Conservation Carousel: Register and ride operations.
Giraffe Feedings: Register operations.
Requirements:
16 years of age or older. (Minors will be required to provide a work permit when applicable.)
Constantly work outdoors in all climates & weather conditions with prolonged stationary positions/traversing at all locations.
Move, transport or position 35 lbs. unassisted.
Communicate with the public in a positive, friendly manner.
Must be trainable on cash handling & maintain proper skill level.

Availability:
This is a seasonal, non-benefitted position with variable hours ranging from 15-40 per week (not to exceed an annual total of 1500 hours).
Must be available at least 3 days per week, including 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
Students may initially provide availability for 2 days per week, increasing to 3 days once classes are over.
Shifts range from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with most shifts falling between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Shifts typically last 5-8 hours.
