JOB SUMMARY: What General Information Do I Need to Know About This Position? GS-13 Salary: $103,409 (Step 01) to $134,435 (Step 10). MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supervisory Hydrologist within the Utah Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include: Writes, modifies, and edits scientific reports for publication of water resources investigations. Conducts hydrologic studies to determine the effects of natural and anthropogenic factors that impact water quantity and quality. Plans and executes hydrologic data collection to include performing complex quantitative and qualitative analysis and solving complex problems. Develops water resources programs/investigations through collaboration with scientists and cooperating agencies. Interacts with cooperators, professional organizations, government agencies, and the public in order to communicate science. Operates a government owned or leased vehicle as incident driver.
