Summary

The Assistant Manager, Health Safety and Environment (HSE) will assist the manager in organizing, planning, and implementing safety programs at all locations. The position will includedata analyzation and report monitoring with trends in vehicle accidents and injuries. The Assistant manager will be setting up and organizing schedules for HSE audits, maintain department programs, and report trends and concerns to manager.

Responsibilities

Primary
- Compile safety data to assist Manager in formulating effective Corrective Actions
- Prepares reports for Safety meetings
- Assists with updating HSE programs
- Coordinate and schedule internal meetings at all locations
- Maintains schedule of training in PMVitals for all locations
- Oversee safety team's duties across three different facilities
Secondary
- Assists with updating ISO 45001 controlled documents
- Attends Safety Teams Meetings
- Obtains quotes from Safety Vendors
- Provides support to HSE assistant managers at all locations
Tertiary
- Other duties as assigned relative to safety
- Attend company meetings when relevant to safety

Compensation Range

$80,000 - $90,000 per year

Proficient with PC skills: Excel, Word
Strong ability to identify and correct errors
Competence in reacting and handling emergencies

Education & Experience

1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Preferred
