Reporting to the Head of Sustainability and working closely and collaboratively with colleagues in Finance and Strategy, the Group Sustainability Reporting Manager will be at the nexus of sustainability, business strategy and finance at a time of significant growth and opportunity in this area.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Lead the overall Sustainability disclosure and reporting approach to deliver best in sector disclosures in line with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other applicable reporting requirements
Develop a clear project plan for Sustainability reporting requirements and define and document appropriate process and controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Prepare and deliver external sustainability disclosures throughout the year including annual reports, investor briefings, ESG ratings among others
Manage internal reporting on sustainability and broader strategy KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly basis or as required to ensure key internal stakeholders are kept informed. This may involve presentations for the Audit and Risk Committee, Environment and Social Responsibility Committee and other relevant committees
Work collaboratively with various subject matter experts and data owners throughout the business to define key metrics to be used for sustainability measurement as well as broader reporting in line with the Group’s strategic objectives
Coordinate internal and external assurance and reporting governance, working with Finance to integrate this into the overall governance and control framework ensuring all legislative requirements are met

Requirements

Relevant professional qualification with significant years PQE and an interest in ESG related matters. Audit Assurance (internal or external) experience an advantage
Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or international equivalent) desirable
Knowledge/understanding of developments in sustainability reporting at an EU and international level as well as key sustainability reporting frameworks
Experience in monthly and annual reporting processes, including a strong understanding of statutory filings, internal controls, audits and their related requirement
High level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with colleagues from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers and the general employees
