We are looking for a Battery Test Product Manager to join our team! This role will report to a Business Unit Manager and has exciting growth opportunity.

The Battery Test Product Manager is responsible for building a winning product strategy to drive long term growth in Fluke’s battery test business. They are the primary decision maker for the Global product line - building robust product roadmaps, crafting business models to support new product launches and leading new product projects through Fluke’s agile product development process. They will be a subject matter expert in understanding our customers’ workflows and product feature trade-offs through extensive use of Voice of Customer (VOC) experimentation. To be successful in this role, the Product Manager should be able to work cross-functionally with teams from all aspects of Fluke’s organization, including engineering, sales, industrial design, quality, etc.

Responsibilities\:

Leads strategy and decision making for the full Battery Test product line
Builds plans and programs driven by customer needs, expressed in both product roadmaps and business justification communications
Deep subject matter authority understanding customer product feature trade-offs, workflow management and compensating behaviors
Monitors competition and global market positions
Is responsible for the customer segmentation of the business and determines which markets & market segments to address
Leads the successful conversion of key roadmap priorities into profitable business plans via lean product development methodology
Understands how products and product line offerings fit within the broader Fluke portfolio
Defines table stakes for a given product, i.e. what the bare minimum right to play across the complete offering (warranty, cost, performance, service)
Leads the product lifecycle process with a commercial focus, from conceptualization, to roadmap, to end of life policies and execution
Provides support to commercial and marketing teams in understanding and messaging product value propositions
Builds and maintains relationships with key partners, e.g. technology licensing and OSP manufacturing partners
Creates leadership review documents in advance, soliciting feedback from all interested parties and understanding what the hot button issues are
Partners with Regional Commercial Strategy Managers to understand regional differences in the market and customer

Professional Qualifications\:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical/Engineering; MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive and broad-based product marketing, product development, program management, technical marketing, brand, and product leadership experience.
Experience working within branded B2B and/or B2C environments with exposure to large-scale projects and cross-functional team leadership
Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
Ability to lead and operate effectively in a matrix organization
