Description

The Designer specializes in structural, environmental, graphic and print design, with a strong understanding of production and fabrication. Working directly with Account teams to conceptualize, design and manage the production schedule for client program creative needs. The Designer also supports the New Business Development team by generating concept renderings and mockups for proposals. The Designer supports the Creative Department as a whole, contributing ideas, proposing design concepts, and assisting with other design projects as needed.

This position assists with the production of materials to recap current client programs and for general EventLink marketing/communication. This person exhibits initiative in creative problem solving and maintaining a thorough understanding of deliverable objectives, the Designer works across multitude disciplines print, videos, digital, web, branding, 3D and physical design to support internal and external current and prospective client needs and is well versed in the usage of Google Sketchup to complete their assignments.

Responsibilities:

Manage the design, production and estimating for internal and external creative
Support business development by creating concept renderings/mockups for proposals
Work collaboratively within the creative department; contribute ideas and design concepts and assist with other design projects as needed
Provides environmental and structural design expertise to the team
Work closely with client service teams to manage creative needs, brand objectives, design specifications/requirements, and delivery dates for programs
The ability to see projects through to production, following the production checklist thoroughly.
Support business development by helping produce videos and collateral for company promotion
Work closely with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of various campaign materials
Helps lead and contribute to agency brainstorm sessions to help elevate the creative concepts within our events, designs and digital opportunities.
Help lead client service meetings when kicking off projects

Qualification

Education:

Bachelors Degree in advertising, communications, or design

Experience:

3-5 years of relevant agency or design studio experience
Previous background in experiential marketing preferred
Provide a portfolio of prior professional work
Experienced in 3D modeling and rendering work, dimensional illustrations

Skills:

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, GoogleSketchup, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
An understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP and over all web languages
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
Intermediate understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong communication skills and persuasive abilities
Cool under pressure and able to juggle multiple clients and assignments in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail
