GTM Sales Leader - Battery Manufacturing (NA)

Job description\:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead to drive our Go to Market expansion and strategy into the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing sector.

This leadership role involves collaborating with both existing and potential clients, encouraging relationships, and ensuring the execution of our market entry strategy. As part of our ‘Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace’ sales team, you will work closely with our internal battery manufacturing authorities and solution architects to align our offerings with the unique needs of the EV battery market.

Key responsibilities\:

Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities in the battery manufacturing industry, encouraging relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Collaborate with internal authorities and solution architects to ensure our offerings align with the evolving needs and trends.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including the creation and execution of sales plans, presentations, and proposals.
Act as a liaison between the clients and our internal teams, ensuring our solutions and services are positioned at the right level and meet client expectations.
We participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand our presence and network within the domain.
Lead the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales activities and progress toward key performance indicators.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competition to identify new opportunities.
Responsible for updating deal status and track success in a timely manner in our CRM software.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent field. Chemistry or Material Science Degree Preferred. An MBA is a plus.
Proven track record of 15+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in the EV battery or related manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of EV battery technologies, market trends, and industry players.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical information to both expert and non-technical audiences.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with a focus on client happiness.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to adapt to evolving market conditions.
Results-driven and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Ability to work optimally in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
