Summary:
This position will be responsible for preparing air quality environmental permit applications at existing and new build projects at Energy Transfer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare air permit applications for projects in multiple states for the natural gas midstream, crude oil & finished products, transportation, and NGL processing industries
- Perform emission calculations and assess federal and state regulatory applicability
- Evaluate various air permitting mechanisms for potential projects to determine the most optimal permitting path and associated requirements
- Represent Energy Transfer in discussions with state and federal agencies, as needed

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Applied Sciences or Mathematics
6+ years of relevant work experience
Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to gather data, prepare emission calculations, and assess various control technologies
Ability to work under normal supervision and multitask on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders and with various consulting firms
Excellent verbal & written communication skills

The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant job related experience
The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
