JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the EOC Team, the Solar Program Assistant will support the Community Solar Program with daily operations and tasks. Our program connects limited-income renters and homeowners in Colorado whose homes are not suitable for rooftop solar with free access to the cost savings of solar energy. We’re looking for someone who can support our team in various areas of our work including guiding participants through the application process, verifying participant eligibility, managing participants across databases, and helping with communications related to the program.

Essential Functions

Conduct participant intake from other EOC Programs and external sources (i.e. website, email)
Database entry for program applications
Prep subscribers for enrollment in various databases
Assist with program invoicing
Assist with general subscriber communications including mail, email, or text campaigns
Assist at various outreach events in the Denver/Boulder Metro Area
Prepare mailers and/or mass emails for subscriber communication

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Detail oriented/strong attention to detail
Ability to manage and enter data into a CRM/database (e.g. salesforce)
Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports
Strong communication skills, including phone calls, email, and text messaging
Ability to travel to outreach events
Ability to work professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds

Minimum Qualifications

Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel specifically)
Experience working with a CRM/database software (e.g. Salesforce)
Interest in serving marginalized communities
Interest in working in renewable energy, specifically solar photovoltaic energy

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marketing or communications
Experience using marketing or communication tools (e.g. Canva, MailChimp)
Experience in social work or with marginalized communities
Knowledge or interest in working in renewable energy
Fluent in English and Spanish

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

Valid Driver's License required or the ability to be present to meet at various locations, and times as required
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, talking, hearing
Must provide proof of Covid19 vaccination.

Work Environment

Hybrid – office location in downtown Denver and employees’ home or remote Colorado location

Salary – $27.88/hour - $28.84/hour
