Purpose:

Serve as an environmental resource to Endura Products manufacturing facilities to achieve full compliance with environmental regulatory requirements and Masonite corporate goals and expectations. Responsible for policy development, roll out and ensuring compliance within the Prineville location. Develop into an environmental subject matter expert for the company.

Main Responsibilities:

Support Prineville operations by integrating Masonite environmental policies, goals, and programs into site-specific programs. Verify compliance through site inspections. Track and report on performance against goals.
Focus on policy development, roll out and training.
Respond to requests for assistance from Prineville operations interpreting environmental regulations and compliance requirements in areas of air emissions compliance, waste management, stormwater protection, EPCRA reporting and other relevant environmental topics.
Support Project Managers and Engineering on major environmental projects and permitting.
Serve as the lead for permitting and compliance projects.
Serve as a primary interface with State and Local regulatory authorities for permitting and compliance projects.
Manage the environmental compliance function for the Prineville location.
Develop, conduct, and support environmental training for manufacturing operations.
Participate in corporate environmental audits and make recommendations for future policies and strategy.
Drive the environmental strategy forward to ensure corporate sustainable development.
Implement strategy to ensure compliance is prioritized and championed at all levels within the Prineville location.
Develop and maintain the Prineville facility Hazcom program.
Assist the Prineville EHS Manager with EHS compliance obligations.
Assist other Endura Products operations as directly by the EHS Director.

Qualifications and Experience:

BS in Environmental, Chemical, Civil or related field.
Minimum 5 - 6 years in Manufacturing, Consulting, or Government.

Certifications/Designations

CHMM or REM preferred
