Join our growing team as a Safety, Health, & Environmental (SH&E) Manager within our North America EcoSure division. Reporting to the SH&E Director for the Institutional and Specialty Group, the SH&E Manager is responsible for partnering with EcoSure leadership team as well as field sales and service associates to sustain and grow the safety culture. We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to coordinate health, safety and environmental programs, inspections, training, audits and hazard assessments related to federal and state regulatory requirements in support of established safety policies and practices ensuring the wellbeing of employees.

Location: This role can be based in either St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL.

What You Will Do:

Acts as the primary point of contact for the EcoSure and FSS sales and service associates to continue to build and sustain a strong safety culture.
Build and grow the safety champion network and programs.
Performs technical work in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the organizations SHE standards and with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Assists in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of programs, systems, and procedures necessary to ensure the overall safety and health of employees and the community.
Manages or leads projects in select areas, such as industry-specific auditing, managing an ergonomics program, workplace risk assessments, and administering personnel/driver safety programs.
Develops SH&E communications including safety moments, lessons learned and best practices to be shared via internal social media applications.
Facilitates virtual and/or in person training for associates on various SH&E related topics.
Partner with operations leaders to develop and implement local safety action plans.
Prepares monthly safety updates and metric dashboards.
Manages the safety observation/near miss reporting program for EcoSure and FSS
Investigates collisions, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.
Conducts root cause analysis for post incident investigations.
Analyze and interpret leading and lagging safety metrics from a wide range of sources.
Develops routine reporting using Microsoft excel, power point, and power BI.
Provides regulatory interpretation, technical advice, and safety performance measures.
Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental, health, industrial hygiene, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience
Proven ability to lead, develop, and implement programs and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good working knowledge of OSHA regulations
Certification as a safety professional and/or industrial hygienist
Strong demonstrated passion for safety, a willingness to learn and be developed in a fast-paced demanding environment.
Experience leading training and development initiatives in the field of Environment, Health, or Safety.
Experience in project leadership.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Certification as an Associate Safety Professional and/or as an Industrial Hygienist.
Experience in project leadership
Experience in on-site auditing/inspections
