Develop to be an ESG and Sustainability data specialist

As a student in Global Sustainability and ESG team, you will play a central role as an important facilitator of sustainability information. By using your knowledge and the data skills from your study, you will build knowledge about Nilfisk to become a sustainability and ESG data specialist to support the Global ESG & Sustainability department in the ongoing dialogue with customers and filling data into ESG frameworks.

You will be joining Nilfisk at a time where we are implementing new sustainability reporting regulation, integrating our sustainability KPIs into the organization and concluding on our Sustainability Report for 2023. You will support by knowing our sustainability data, develop the ESG reporting framework, as well as facilitate customer requests on sustainability. You will deliver this in close collaboration with a multitude of internal stakeholders and the Global ESG & Sustainability team in Nilfisk.

What you will do

Complete Corporate Knights and Nasdaq Transparency Index with existing data
Add and maintain information on the Sedex platform
Respond to customer questionnaires
Respond and compile information in a ‘response library’ to support our customer facing colleagues

Say hi to your new team

You will be part of the Global Sustainability and ESG team, headed by Director of Sustainability in ESG, Malene Thiele. You will be an addition to a currently very diverse team of four sustainability specialists with English as the working language, all located in our new head office – a brand new sustainable building in Nordhavn. The team is working closely together with a broad range of stakeholders in both the head office and across the markets and value supporting each other and having fun at work.

You will be based in the HQ of a global and international organization. You will play a pivotal role in bringing the business together on the journey towards compliant and reliable ESG data for decision making and reporting. This is the right job for you if you are looking to develop your professional, and personal growth within the ESG agenda in an international organization.

We value the experience you bring

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you are in the last year of your bachelor or the beginning of your master. You have a knowledge of financial reporting and excel proficiency. You are fluent in English both written and spoken. We also imagine that you either have experience working with ESG or have a great passion for the ESG agenda. As the ESG agenda is a complex area that is constantly evolving, we imagine that you have great communication skills and can translate something complex into clear recommendations. Knowledge of the regulation in the area will be an advantage but not a requirement.
