What you will be doing

This role would be responsible to manage the entire “Environment Management Portfolio” for business platforms as part of shared services function at dentsu. As we move all our entities onto Global platforms as part of the dentsu ECO system transformation journey, the role is expected to work closely with Platform leads, Project teams, ENV leads from different platforms ensuring a seamless, effective collaboration & successful delivery of Platforms Environments.

Responsible for building a robust & scalable Environment strategy.
Understanding of system architecture best practices of Environment Management.
Provide environment management services as an “Integrated Portfolio” in a DevOps and Agile environment to a global transformation program.
Include all aspects of the ENV Management life cycle from forecast, assessment, solutioning, provisioning, making it operational & continuous support.
Excellent people management skills with prior experience of team building & mentoring.
Create and maintain fully integrated & cross-platforms environment forecasts, environment plans.
Maintain the environment inventory.
Plan and manage Disaster Recovery for the environments.
Generate monthly actual cost reports along with other ENV Leads for running the environments and look at opportunities to optimise costs.
Provide continuous improvements on environment processes and run books.
Work with Technical Project Managers and Test Mangers to co-ordinate planned outage and environment refreshes.
Assist with the set-up of external integrations and third-party system connections to the applications.
Owns the transformation agenda and roadmap, working with the business to drive delivery from environments perspective.
Supports the business leadership to manage the technology elements of projects in this area.
Works with the business function to provide solutions to markets and brands in line with business strategy.
Talent Management - Building sustainable teams, Developing cross trained / skilled individuals.

What you’ll bring

Understanding of system architecture best practices of Environment Management.
Understanding of Environment and Release Management governance processes.
Create concise high-quality reports, presentations/ power point deck, communication materials for senior management.
Ability to identify, clarify, and appropriately resolve, or escalate issues and risks.
Proven experience working in a complex integrated environment, Global Delivery model.
Process oriented, metrics driven.
Stakeholder management with strong communication & presentation skills.

Key Experience :

14+ years of overall proven track record in Programme Management/Delivery Management related to End-to-end Environment & Release (Value-add) management.
Understanding of Governance Framework.
Processes knowledge for managing enterprise platforms/environment for various platforms/stakeholders & across regions (globally).
Experience working on Service Management tools viz., Jira, Confluence, DevOps, MS Teams or similar collaboration tools.
Good to have an understanding of the overall topology of IT Infrastructure.
Cloud experience or exposure to various cloud-based applications.
Troubleshooting, managing and tracking Environment Incidents & Service Requests in conjunction with technical teams.

What else you need to know

The role is hybrid and can be based from either our London or Manchester office and potentially from Banglor, India.
