Job Overview

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities and duties for this position include, but may not be limited to:

Complete PCA training with the goal of advancing in the PCA field inspection and report authoring discipline.
Complete local ESA and PCA inspections, as needed.
Overnight travel for inspections up to 50%.
Upload complete and accurate field information by end of the day on the assigned Upload Date.
Become proficient in all client templates and report authoring platforms, including, but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, Parcel, and Quire.
Stay apprised of current and relevant requirements/regulations/standards.
Communicate problems, questions, and concerns related to projects to interested parties in a timely manner.
Respond to all client inquiries within 1 hour if working at a computer that day or within 4 hours if traveling or performing inspections.
Self-report weekly Scorecard and ROCKS related to individual and company goals.
Adhere to CEG Management’s schedule/calendar for daily assignments. Reach out to Management if additional time is needed to complete tasks, as well as if tasks are completed early so that Management can help make decisions on workflow needs.
Adhere to all current and future policies and protocols related to project-related and administrative-related topics.
If booking your own travel, be sure to stay within the budgets provided to you for each project. If that is not possible, obtain permission from Management before exceeding provided budgets.
Have monthly 1-2-1 coaching/mentorship meetings with a designated mentor; complete goals and action items set forth in 1-2-1 coaching/mentorship meetings.
Promote/create strong relationships among contractors, employees, and clients.
Work to establish open and honest lines of communication with management and teammates.
Help identify and resolve the need for process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will:

Possess a B.S. or higher degree in a discipline related to environmental studies/biology/chemistry/geology or similar.
Have a minimum of two (2) years of working in a Due Diligence consulting-related discipline (Phase I ESAs or similar).
Be able to complete field inspections of properties that may require walking on uneven or slippery surfaces and terrain, climbing ladders in accordance with applicable safety standards, and driving/flying to inspections across the United States, as necessary.
Have comfort and agility in working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations during inspections.
Maintain a high level of professionalism while defusing stressful situations.
Have the ability to work remotely and self-manage job tasks and expectations.
