Environmental Compliance Coordinator

Accountabilities:

Takes care of daily environmental activities at the Mining Complex..
Oversees permitting requirements from various Federal and State Regulatory agencies.
Oversee environmental compliance -- provide data for WVDEP permits, perform compliance reviews, and provide engineering services for reclamation and construction projects.
Oversees NPDES permits, treatment and sampling of mine discharge water.
Perform routine environmental inspections of the Mining Complex and surrounding permit area.
Must be safety oriented and adhere to all of Company’s safety requirements.
Professional Oral and Written Communication skills desired.

Requirements:

Min. 1 years of Mining or Related Mining experience
Familiar with Waste Water or Mine Water treatment systems

Surface Water Management
Familiar with WVDEP, OSM, EPA, COE and MSHA regulations
Familiar with Auto Cadd, Microsoft Office Suite and WV DEP E-Permitting Website
Possess excellent computer, communication and writing skills.
Ability to use typical engineering field and drafting equipment.
